What day is it? 8 days? 9 days?

Nothing big to report on my diet. I am eating significantly less with no cravings. That's pretty sensational of itself.

Cassie visited Arpana, our family doc yesterday. After 5 months on the diet she wanted to see whether it really was 'the diet to die for' - and obviously, after a lab test, to see what effect the diet had upon her markers.

She came home elated. Her report was amazing. Firstly, her Bilirubin level was the best it had been for years. It's a great indicator of liver health - very significant given she has relieved it of all that work it had to do previously managing sugars. Secondly, her LDL's - her good cholesterol was also fabulous. This is a test on a 50 year old woman eating what the usual health world would say is 'excessive' saturated fats - in the form of coconut oil. The only down-indicator was calcium, and she'll get back into the water - she had been a little slack recently, and maybe our AlkaBooster.

I was very excited because she did it all on her own with more than one negative comments from me. She kept going and all her indicators are excellent. Energy, awareness, mental clarity. And she's a s trim as I've seen her for years.

GMO Petition

Mike Adams, Health Ranger alerted me to a move by the US Governement in Codex negotiations to ban labelling on GMO related food products. If you believe that you deserve to know what your food has in it, I recommend you add your name to the petition.

Getting Serious about Alkaline

Let's get a few things straight first. "Alkaline' theory can be broken into water and food. Water is the 'hot' subject in the form of water ionizers at the moment, but food is an equal and synchronistic element of alkaline theory.

So I'll be examining both areas; the 'big' theories you read about on the net about water ionizer/alkalizers.. and the way we can change our lives through alkaline diet.

For me, there's little difference between the two areas in the sense that my body really does tell me what I need. I'm an 'Accidental Alkalarian' because I began alkalizing when I found my first water alkalizer. The rest of my personal story came as a result of the 'awakening' of my body to its natural alkalinity

So my stories, theories and conjectures all come from personal experience. I try very, very hard not to pen anything I don't understand, and I'm aware that much of my learning has come incrementally. That is to say that I couldn't know what I know without prior learning. So my hope is that you can learn faster as you read my posts, depending (a) on where you are at in your personal journey into Alkalarianism and (b) on your willingness to learn.
